Three cars stood out at the Paris Motor Show, and one of them wasn’t even there. It wasn’t at the show because it’s about two years from production, Daimler’s development boss Dr Thomas Weber said the night before the show opened. The latest edition of the Challenger that will use the same platform with the Alfa Romeo Giulia. This means that this model uses rear-wheel drive.


This change reportedly will add to the dynamics on the car, better handling, and make it into a more nimble maneuver

There is no official confirmation to use the engine. But it is expected the car will use a V8 engine.

As a comparison, Challenger generation Hellcat today use 6.2-liter V8 HEMI engine. The machine is capable of spraying up to 707 horsepower.

For this latest generation, will use new engine of Hellcat HEMI V8 that has been upgraded so that at least could be boosting power to 750 horsepower.

Silverstone - British F1 driver Lewis Hamilton of Mercedes team managed to win the British Grand Prix held Sunday (10/07/2016). It was Hamilton's fourth win in their own homes, after a previous winner in 2008, 2014 and 2015.

Racing at Silverstone Circuit on Sunday (07/10/2016) started behind the safety car because of the wet track after the rain. Throughout the race, Hamilton relatively dominant to maintain its position in the first place.

Meanwhile, Nico Rosberg and Max Verstappen engaged in a fierce battle for the position of second. In the end, the podium was taken by Rosberg and Verstappen had to settle for finishing third.

For Hamilton, it was the third victory in a row that he noted in the British GP. Overall, Hamilton is already a four-time winners of the Silverstone

With a victory in the British Grand Prix, Hamilton cut the difference in points with Rosberg in the driver standings. Hamilton now has 167 points, just four points adrift of Rosberg who still leads the standings.


However the results achieved by Rosberg is still not safe. Rosberg is being investigated by the competition Committee held communication with the team, while engaging the problem in the middle of the race. Communications allegedly occurred with the team regarding a problem gearbox while racing. Communication of technical problems, it was banned by the FIA regulations.

British GP race buzzes with drivers who off the track. Indonesian rider, Rio Haryanto and his team-mates, Pascal Wehrlein of Manor Racing team, be some riders who had to end the race sooner, because thrown into the gravel.

British rally racer, Mark Higgins, a success made all the people which present at the event's most dangerous race the Isle of Man on Monday (06/06) stunned by breaking new fastest lap record using the Subaru WRX STI, which previously he made a record, 19 minutes and 15 seconds in 2014

Subaru has set a new record in the Isle of Man. Thanks to the Subaru WRX STI that has been modified, Mark Higgins beat the Snaefell Mountain Course with a distance of 60.7 km, which is renowned as one of the most dangerous track in the Isle Of Man in 17 minutes and 35 seconds

To break this record, Subaru WRX STI called Time Attack was developed with input from professional racers. Visually, the car has a body kit that includes a new front bumper with wide air dam, side skirts, rear diffuser, large rear wing and alloy wheels.

The engine has also been modified. Reportedly, the 2.0-liter turbocharged flat four is set so that it can give off power to 600 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. the average speed of the Subaru WRX STI which has been specially modified to break the record reaches 207.1 km / h. Even so, Higgins believes he is able more faster.

Currently the number of electric cars in Norway approximately 24 percent of the total number of private vehicles in the country are often cited as the happiest country.

Valentino Rossi won the MotoGP Catalunya 2016 after winning a fierce duel with Marc Marquez. Meanwhile, Jorge Lorenzo had completed the race more quickly because of the crash.

In the race held at the Circuit de Catalunya, Montmelo, Sunday (05/06/2016) night, Rossi, who started in fifth position would be able to end the race in pole position. First he passed Lorenzo and involved in a fierce duel with Marquez before claiming his second victory this season.

While the misfortune experienced by Lorenzo led the race since the first lap actually lose that position from the fifth lap and ended up having completed the race on lap-16.

With the results of this race, while Marquez topped the standings with 125 points from seven races, 10 points ahead of Lorenzo in second place with 115 points. While Rossi is third with 103 points.

Green lights mark the race began, Lorenzo, who started from the second position straightl overtaking Marquez who holds the pole position. Dani Pedrosa in third and Valentino Rossi down to eighth position.

However, only one lap, Rossi went back to the sixth position. While Lorenzo still leads the race followed by Repsol Honda duo Marquez and Pedrosa.

Despite leading the race, Lorenzo could not escape from Marquez continues to chase behind. Rossi was slowly but surely able to improve his position.

Until finally in the fourth lap, Rossi then passed Pedrosa and Marquez to get behind Lorenzo.

Rossi trailed  Lorenzo for two laps before finally in the sixth lap, he managed to overtake Lorenzo and led the race.

Shortly after overtaken by Rossi, Lorenzo lost the second position on lap seven after being overtaken by Pedrosa and Marquez and then he crashed out in fourth position.

Lorenzo did not only lose the chance to win but also have to stop the race because it was hit by Andrea Iannone from behind on lap-16.

Both riders also fell and Lorenzo looks very annoyed to Iannone.

While in the front row, Rossi and Marquez competing for the position. Both fierce fight in the last five laps.

Rossi and Marquez overtaking each other towards the end of the race which eventually won by Rossi and more comfortable in first position until crossing the finish line. Marquez in the second position, while Pedrosa was third.

The U.S  military makes stealth motorcycles that allows soldiers to be able to sneak up quickly without known enemies. This motorcycle only emits 55 decibels, or like the sound emitted by electric toothbrush.

Two-wheeled vehicle military is capable of reaching 80 miles per hour. This motorcycle sound is silent because the electric drive.

Stealth Motorcycles or called the SilentHawk uses two-wheel drive system to improve traction on gravel roads, sand, or other challenging trails. Slim body dimensions have the benefit of being able to bulldoze the forest path, where other military heavy vehicles can't get through it.

Alex Dzwill, Chief Engineer for the project SilenHawk of the company Logos Technologies, say, with standard skills, all the soldiers could use this motorcycle in any field.

However, SilentHawk has limitations, with battery power only lasted two hours. Therefore, this motorcycle experience modification again, until finally using hybrid engines, which can use all types of fuel, such as gasoline, aftur, kerosene, or diesel.

The Silent Hawk’s electric system is from Alta Motors. “They have purpose built this battery pack to be of higher density … They have an active cooling system in it that insures that even if there is a cell failure that one cell will fail with no explosion. It will remain operational,” said Dzwill. It’s very similar same multi-cell system in today’s Tesla cars.

“Our system is a bigger brother,” said Jean-Marc Henriette, chief engineer at LSA Autonomy, which makes the Nightmare. “We’ve got a much bigger bike for the same type of requirements.” The Nightmare weighs in at about 400 pounds, compared to 350-pound Silent Hawk. Both bikes feature a front-wheel motor and rear motor but the Nightmare boasts a larger horsepower, 17 in front and 135 in back. The Nightmare averages around 13 kilowatts in generated power, versus 7.5 kilowatts for the Silent Hawk. Both have the ability to run external devices, too.
