Nissan GT-R engine is still built by human hands for 10 years

Hiroshima-typically, car engines currently produced by advanced robots. However, Nissan still requires experts hands or called Takumi to produce Nissan GT-R engine.



For almost 10 years the production of Nissan GT-R engine is still the same. The engine was made with only five master craftsman called Takumi.

Fifth Takumi are Shioya Izumi, Tetsuji Matsumoto, Tsunemi Ooyama, Hiroyuki Ichikawa and Takumi Kurosawa.

Lastly, Takumi attention to the quality of the machine that has been made. First, the machine is turned up to 3000 rpm rotation. Takumi let the lubricant flow into the engine and check the sound.
