Apple reportedly began speeding up its first electric car project. The project named "Titan" was said had to be completed next four years, precisely in 2019. To achieve these targets, Apple reportedly has agreed to increase the number of employees in the project.

Citing an unnamed source, The Wall Street Journal, Apple has given approval to the head of the project to "expand" the number of employees tripled from the current one.
Nowadays, it is known there are about 600 employees who worked on the Titan project. With the approval of these additions, there are at least 1,800 employees working together to realize the electric car.
Although mention 2019 as the date of completion of the project, it does not mean that electric cars will be directly available in the market. The year is the target of the completion of all the essential features of the Apple car.
This means that the car can be released a few months, even years, after the completion of the project.
Apple's electric car will not be completely autonomous in the early days of it's presence. These capabilities Apple is said to be a long-term plan, but have yet to be fully present at first launch.
Apple seriousness in working on this project visible from the recruitment of some famous people in the automotive industry. Some people who are employed Apple is a former Ford engineer, Steve Zadesky, who now serves as vice president of Apple's Product Design.
In addition, there is also a former Ford designer, Marc Newson, who is involved in the project Titan. Newson previously as a concept cars designer for the automotive manufacturer in the US.
The Wall Street Journal also reported that Apple had a meeting with some manufacturers which has been a component supplier upscale cars.
