Lewis Hamilton returned to winning ways after failing to finish in the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix last. The British driver finished the forefront of the 53 lap race in the Japanese GP.
At the Suzuka circuit on Sunday (09/27/2015) afternoon local time, Hamilton, who started from the second position immediately shot after the green light is on. He had a tight duel with teammate, Nico Rosberg to enter the first corner, before then grab pole position at the second corner.
Since that time Hamilton was able to keep the pace and widen the distance. Until the end of the race he was untouched and finish as champions comfortably.
While Rosberg had to settle for finishing runner-up, followed by Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel in the top three. A row behind him was Kimi Raikkonen and Valtteri Bottas.
With this result, Hamilton established himself at the top of the drivers' standings with a value of 277. Rosberg followed with 229 points, followed by Vettel in third place with 218 points.
