Cars with autonomous technology can replace the driver seems to have become a new trend in the automotive world. After a number of automakers have been developing and testing self-driving car, now it's turn Nissan Motor Company who will perform the autonomous technology in crossover in 2017.


Nissan Deputy Director of Design and Vehicle Development, David Moss, who confirmed the plan. He said, now Nissan is testing an autonomous technology which will produce a pure electric vehicle.

"With this technology, it could be an alternative (the current driver) is not interested in to driving, such as when a traffic jam," he said.

As with other manufacturers, for the initial stage, Nissan still develop autonomous driving technology to deal with traffic congestion conditions. This technology can be activated at a certain speed.

However, Nissan will develop the technology with more complex functions that drive autonomously or without a driver on public road. The new autonomous features that will be installed at the brand-new Nissan crossover variant.

The technology was deemed fit to be combined with an electric powered car because it was considered appropriate. Environmentally friendly electric cars, and autonomous technology gives the driver comfort when a traffic jam. (pictures Nissan concept Gripz)
