"They have hired people we've fired. We always jokingly call Apple the 'Tesla Graveyard.' If you don't make it at Tesla, you go work at Apple. I'm not kidding." Musk sai
Maybe this time Tesla was victorious after a successful launch electric car Model X. With the success achieved by the CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk appears to look somewhat arrogant.
In a chance interview with German media, Elon Musk appears to underestimate Apple's plan to launch autonomous car in 2019.
As quoted from Time on Saturday (10/10/2015), when Elon Musk was asked by reporters whether he was concerned about the autonomous car that will be launched by Apple. The reason is some engineers who developed Apple's autonomous car project are former Tesla's employee .
"They have hired people we've fired. We always jokingly call Apple the 'Tesla Graveyard.' If you don't make it at Tesla, you go work at Apple. I'm not kidding." Musk said
Furthermore, he "mocked" Apple up there. Elon Musk also said making car it's totally different from smart devices that have made by Apple such as iPhone, iPad, or MacBook.
He said, have you ever seen Apple Watch? It is a good thing that Apple has been moving and making new investments. But the car is a tricky thing when compared with smartphones or smart watch.
"For Apple, making a car is a new things that requires significant innovation. Not the same as iPad technology and other smart devices," he added
