Mercedes team mastered the forefront of the 2015 Russian Grand Prix race. Nico Rosberg will start the race from pole position. He beat teammate, Lewis Hamilton.
Rosberg gained the fastest time in the qualifying session at the Sochi Autodrom Circuit , Saturday (10/10/2015). The German driver posted a time of 1 minute 37.113 seconds.
Hamilton had to settle for second place in this qualification. Notes slower time 0.320 seconds behind Rosberg.
For Rosberg, this is the third time this season he won the pole position. Previously, he also occupies the pole position in the Spanish GP and the Japan GP.
The third position belonged to Williams driver, Valtteri Bottas, 1 minute 37.912 seconds. Bottas will start in front of Ferrari, Sebastian Vettel.
Vettel's teammate, Kimi Raikkonen, was fifth. Nico Hulkenberg, Sergio Perez, Romain Grosjean, Max Verstappen, and Daniel Ricciardo respectively fill the sixth to the tenth position.
