No half-hearted, GM will offer a choice of 6 engine for this sixth-generation Chevy Camaro, all-new powertrain combinations, for the lowest option starting with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder mill with 275 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. A revamped 3.6-liter V6 powers the LT trim levels, while a 455-horsepower 6.2-liter LT1 V8 can be found under the SS' hood. Each engine is available with a choice between six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic gearbox.
Engineers worked to make the car lighter than its predecessor, slashing between 223 and 390 pounds depending on the package. Despite the weight savings, the chassis is stiffer for improved handling.
Reportedly Camaro will begin priced from USD 26 695. It is said to be able to produce the latest Camaro, GM is investing up to $ 175 million.
